Excel - Getting started with Data Validation List

Creating a Data Validation List is a great way to make sure you have "good" data. For example, I may type Human Resources as a department, but later in my data, I see HR. I know that HR and Human Resources are the same, but Excel doesn't.

Excel has three views in the status bar - Normal, Page Layout, and Page Break Preview. We will look at using Page Break Preview to move and lose page breaks and using the Insert Tab to Insert Page Breaks and Reset All Page Breaks. These commands are part of my Excel Essentials Course.

We don't usually want to email, or share are Word files. Frequently, we make our Word documents PDF files. If you lay out your Word document correctly, it is easy to make bookmarks in the PDF.
