Sep 28, 2024 - Excel Training for Executive MBA Students at the University of Georgia
Posted on: 04/27/2024
On September 28, 2024, I will be honored to speak to the Executive MBA students at the Terry College of Business from the University of Georgia about the essential Excel skills for financial and data analysis.
Excel is a powerful tool for data manipulation, calculation, visualization, and reporting. In this presentation, I will demonstrate how to use some of its most useful features, such as Pivot Tables, sorting and filtering, and functions.
The EMBA students will learn how to create and customize Pivot Tables to summarize and analyze large datasets, sort and filter data to find the necessary information and use Excel functions to perform common financial calculations such as NPV, IRR, and PMT. We will also perform vertical and horizontal analysis on income statements and balance sheets.
