Zoom profile picture now shows in meeting chats

Zoom now features "Profile photos for in-meeting chat." When chatting in a Zoom meeting, participants' profile pictures now appear. If the participant doesn't have a profile picture, their initials appear. This is part of Zoom's update in October 2021 - Zoom version 5.8.3.

Do everyone have to be on Zoom 5.8.3 or higher for this to work?

As long as you have updated to Zoom 5.8.3, you will see the participants' profile pictures even if the person you are chatting with is in a previous version of Zoom. For example, I'm in Zoom 5.8.3 and three other people are in the Zoom meeting on the prior version. Two have a profile picture and the third person does not. I will see the other two participants' profile pictures. The third person doesn't have a profile picture, so I will not see their image in chat.
