The NOW function in Excel returns the current date and time. The NOW function is useful when you need to display the current date and time on a worksheet or calculate a value based on the current date and time, and have that value updated each time you open the worksheet.

Zoom now features "Profile photos for in-meeting chat." When chatting in a Zoom meeting, participants' profile pictures now appear. If the participant doesn't have a profile picture, their initials appear. This is part of Zoom's update in October 2021. The version is 5.8.3, and it works with Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS.

Microsoft Teams has a great new feature for Chat. You can now reply to specific chat messages. This is handy when you are doing a 1-on-1 chat or a group chat, and you have several messages you need to send replies to.

The SORTBY function in Excel sorts the contents of a range or array based on the values in a corresponding range or array. Use SORTBY to see a list of employees sorted by highest paid, but you don't show their salaries. USE SORTBY to sort a customer list by the most profitable customer but not see the revenue.

The Dictate feature in Microsoft is great. Outlook has a new feature with Dictate. You can now dictate the subject, add people to the To, CC, and BCC line, and at mention people. Several commands you can use are "add [Name] to email", "add [Name] to bcc", and "send email".
