Zoom Meetings April update - Password are now required for all meetings
Zoombombing has caused Zoom to make a new update that requires passwords for all meetings. According to Zoom support, passwords are mandatory for all meetings effective on April 4, 2020. Zoom meetings, whether scheduled or instant (join now meeting), will require a password.

When you schedule a Zoom meeting, you can use either your Personal Meeting ID (PMI) or have Zoom automatically generate a number. Either way a password is required. This is a new feature. Before this security update from Zoom, meeting passwords were not required.
