Microsoft has released a Teams meetings update that allows meeting participants to upload their own personal backgrounds. Teams is known for the popular blurry background effect and soon added pre-installed backgrounds. Now Teams allow custom backgrounds to be added.

Steps to add a custom background

  1. Start or Join a Teams Meeting
  2. Click More Actions
  3. Click Show Background Effects
  4. Select Add New
  5. Find a background and click Open
  6. Select the Background and click Apply

To preview the image and see how your background looks before other can see your background click Preview.
