Snagit: Grab Text from a screenshot

One of the best features of Snagit is the ability to capture text that is not selectable. Examples of items where Grab Text comes in handy include:

  1. text on images
  2. error messages
  3. dialog boxes
  4. folders in Windows

How to use Grab Text in Snagit

  1. Capture a screenshot with Snagit
  2. Right-click the capture and select Grab Text
  3. In the Grab Text Results window, copy the text or just a portion of the text. To copy all click Copy All
