Calculate weekly revenue using PivotTables or Vlookup

To calculate weekly revenue or weekly orders in MS Excel, you can use either PivotTables or Vlookup. I prefer the PivotTable method but I will show both methods.

One of your data fields needs to be a date field such as invoice date, purchase order date, order date, etc…

Excel’s grouping feature will allow you to group by Years, Quarters, Months, Weeks, Days, etc.
